"At 46 years old, I have aging skin that has gone from combination to dry / sensitive. I have used retinol in the past, but it causes my skin to become irritated, flaky, and bright red like a sun burn. This moisturizer gives my skin a glow without the harsh irritation. After only 3 days of using this I have noticed a difference in the glow of my skin. I haven’t noticed a change in fine lines or texture yet, but it’s only been 3 days. There is a little redness that is happening from the cell turnover, but not as bad compared to retinols I’ve used in the past. As a gel moisturizer, it’s not as moisturizing as I would like for my skin type so I layered it with Cosrx Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream. Hopefully there will be a cream version in the future. I haven’t seen a difference in fine lines or texture yet, but it’s only been 3 days and time will tell. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for an alternative to retinol.
